Flash Seeds’ Stardust Description
Ratio: Lowryder – Indica – Sativa%: 15 – 30 – 55
Stardust is a private reserve indica highly recommended by a local Hollywood dispensary called Mother Mary Jane. Besides Stardust OG’s lovely trichome-rich appearance, it also emits the appealing scent of berries and skunk. It’s a little bit sweet and a little bit sharp, all hinting at the potent effects the strain can induce. Stardust is sure to leave you seeing stars but will bring you back down to Earth just as gently.
As a first-time patient deal at the Mother Mary Jane dispensary, otherwise known as “church”, I was able to get 8 grams of Stardust for $50. This was a great deal for some potent bud that lasted quite a few blunts. This strain has a very classic appearance with its light green buds, peppered with orange pistils. The nugs are fairly dense and closely packed. The stems are annoyingly tough, and I recommend picking them out rather than attempting to break them up along with the bud. The trichomes thickly cover the buds, giving Stardust OG a shiny, sparkling appearance. A grinder is recommended for consumers who’d like to save their kief. The emerald green nugs of the Stardust OG strain are all around pleasing, making it easy to see why Stardust is becoming a fan favorite among cannabis connoisseurs. Stardust OG can yield THC levels close to the 30’s, so be aware of its percentage before purchasing this strain and possibly overmedicating due to a low tolerance level. Cannabiotix is the cultivator of this strain, and one of their most potent harvests tested at 28.5% THC.
The Stardust strain leaves consumers feeling relaxed, sleepy, hungry, sociable, talkative, and euphoric. I found myself unable to really focus on tasks that required a lot of diligence or patience, but I enjoyed tasks of the creative type, like painting, after consumption of this strain. I consistently felt tired within 30 minutes of consumption of the Stardust strain and found myself taking a series of rest periods in between smoke sessions and activities that required a lot of energy or were otherwise mentally demanding. Smoking Stardust was always a relaxing experience and never failed to make me feel calm or significantly less anxious. There were times where I would withdraw and tend to want to be alone versus being very social when using this strain. It’s pretty 50/50 but this could be due to a variety of factors, mainly dosage.
The Stardust strain will leave you on the moon, floating amongst the stars. This is a very mellow strain that allows for deep relaxation and a calming of the mind, especially for those with conditions such as anxiety and ADHD. The Stardust high is versatile and can be enjoyed in most settings. The Sativa leaning effects and relaxing body high makes the Stardust buds a great option for those looking for a stress relieving strain to use throughout the day’s activities. The Stardust OG strain can be found easily in the LA area at a local dispensary or through one of the many delivery services available on the Weedmaps app. However you decide to get the Stardust strain, be sure to let us know how you like it down in the comments!
