Lemon OG Kush is 60% indica and is somewhat shorter than many OG Kush strains although it will double its height, or more, during flowering. On account of its structure it is quite suitable to be grown in a Sea of Green system although fairly close attention should be paid to its feeding regime as it is not keen on being either under or over-fed. Another thing to keep an eye on is the air-circulation as the dense flowers can become susceptible to mould if air-flow is not sufficient. The heavy buds will also need some form of support if the branches are to be kept safe from the possibility of snapping. In an 8 – 9 week flowering period between 450 – 500 gr/m 2 is possible under 600 watt lighting.

Lemon OG Kush brings together two favourite strains, viz. Lemon Skunk and The OG #18. The Las Vegas Lemon Skunk add sa tremendous lemon aroma to the crazy fuel smell of the OG.

Manicuring is easy thanks to a high calyx to leaf ratio and the flavour and aroma profiles are broadly similar with sweet ‘n’ sour citrus predominant with some earthy notes. The effect is nicely poised between indica and sativa; clear, uplifting and thought-provoking mentally whilst being calming, numbing and with a couch-lock tendency that can induce sleep. It is also a good appetite stimulant and this is perhaps its greatest therapeutic asset as a boon to those undergoing chemotherapy alongside easing stress.

Citrus Kush is a fresh and fruity blast for the senses. As the name implies, this indica-dominant hybrid has a deep citrus aroma with darker, muskier tones that support the theory of some Master Kush genetics. The taste follows suit with a sweet and sour mix that will bring to mind a bright bowl of lemons, limes, and oranges. Citrus Kush’s effects will be strong in both the head and body, providing a mood boost that leaves consumers happy (if a little out of it).
